SSAWO is committed to empowering Afghan adolescent girls and women who have been underprivileged and affected by poverty and illiteracy in Afghanistan in the last decades.
SSAWO distributed tailoring, handicraft and carpet weaving kits to its beneficiaries trained in these skills in the Multi-Purpose Women Center (MPWCs) project - Balkh in presence of UNW focal point and other respective stakeholders.

SSAWO has paved the way for the girls and women to learn vocational skills, so they could be able to make their own livings. After completing these programs, they are financially independent.
SSAWO has given a special attention to the education of women since 2007. To educate Afghan girls and women, SSAWO has provided educational programs at different levels and centers which have been established through Afghanistan. As a result, hundreds of these girls and women educated and delivered to the Afghan societies.
